About the role: The Health Studio in New York was established in 2016 and is led by the Health Practice Leader for New York, she leads all health thought leadership, planning, programming and design projects including major medical facilities in New York, Connecticut and throughout the Northeast. She has over 30 years of dedicated healthcare experience with a hands-on management style and a personal approach to client relationship building. Due to continued growth and success of the Healthcare Studio in New York, the organization is seeking to a well-rounded and career minded architect possessing an entrepreneurial spirit and passion for healthcare design, to be an integral part of their team. This is a high visibility position, reporting to both the Healthcare Practice Leader and the Office Director of in New York. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading teams of architects, planners and designers in the execution of design and delivery of construction documents on large and complex healthcare projects. Additionally, we are seeking an architect with the ability and desire to mentor and help develop junior and staff level architects and designers. Lastly, this person will collaborate with the Office Director in the development of job costs, job budgets, manpower projections and assist in the management of the financial performance of the healthcare projects.
